Do you accept insurance?

We are an out of network provider with all insurances.

How do I know if I have out of network coverage for mental health services?

We will check your insurance coverage prior to your intake session, so that you have the
necessary information before starting services.

How do I submit claims to my insurance?

You don’t! We know the headaches of dealing with insurance companies and the uncertainty of
getting coverage. Our experienced and highly knowledgeable billing team is here to help and
ensure you can stay focused on your growth, rather than getting payments from insurance
companies.

Do you work with FSA/HAS?

Yes. Flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts allow you to set aside money
before taxes for medical expenses. You can apply those funds to each appointment with us.

What if I don’t have any out-of-network coverage?

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, effective January 1, 2022, you will receive a “Good
Faith Estimate” to help you estimate the expected charges that you may be billed for receiving
mental health services at Compass Psychotherapy. This applies to any patients who are
uninsured or who do not plan to use healthcare benefits to pay for services.
